This section features every book, movie, and TV series in the new Star Wars cannon. The one I have not read/watched are greyed out. Everything is listed in the suggested reading order, and it is grouped into [prequels], [classics], and [sequels] since those can be read independently.
Star Wars Comics are listed separately in this separate page.
Note: This page is still a work in progress.

Others

Books that do not fit preciselly in the timeline (e.g. collection of stories that are set at different points of the timeline).

Star Wars: Legends

Star Wars Legends, formerly known as the Expanded Universe (abbreviated EU), encompasses every one of the officially licensed, fictional background stories of the Star Wars universe, outside of the original six Star Wars films produced by George Lucas and certain other material such as Star Wars: The Clone Wars, created before April 25, 2014 and no longer considered part of the Star Wars canon.

Dawn of the Jedi

Here begins the tale of the dawn of the Jedi, the Star Wars of 25,000 years ago-before lightsabers, before hyperspace travel, before the Jedi spread throughout the galaxy, when connections to the Force were new. On the planet Tython, a group of beings-scientists, philosophers, and warriors-strive to maintain peace and to balance the mystifying power known as the Force. But a stranger is coming, one who will disrupt the balance with his arrival and his own connection to the Force. Everything in their system is about to change... The doors to the galaxy have been opened!
