This section features every book, comics, movie, and TV series in the new Star Wars cannon. The one I have not read/watched are greyed out. Everything is listed in the suggested reading order, and it is grouped into [prequels], [classics], and [sequels] since those can be read independently.
Note: This page is still a work in progress.

Prequel Movie Trilogy

The Star Wars prequel trilogy was the second Star Wars trilogy to be filmed and released. Chronologically, it is the first Star Wars trilogy. In the overall arc of the Star Wars Saga, the prequels show the origins of Anakin Skywalker and follow him from becoming a Jedi Padawan to finally succumbing to the dark side and becoming Darth Vader. In the backdrop is the Invasion of Naboo and the Clone Wars, engineered by Palpatine to become Supreme Chancellor and reorganize the Galactic Republic into the Galactic Empire. Other characters include Jedi Knight and Anakin's master, Obi-Wan Kenobi; Senator of Naboo and Anakin's wife, Padmé Amidala; Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn; and various other Jedi and Sith characters. Critically, the prequels were not as well received as the original trilogy, with Episodes I, II, and III receiving 57%, 67%, and 80%, respectively, on Rotten Tomatoes. This has made it a source of controversy amongst Star Wars fans, many liking it and many others not liking it. Nonetheless, the trilogy as a whole generated well over $1 billion at the box office.

Classic Movies Trilogy

The original Star Wars trilogy, also known simply as the Star Wars trilogy, was the first Star Wars trilogy to be filmed and released. In the overall arc of the Star Wars Saga, the original trilogy concludes the story of Darth Vader, also known as the fallen Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker. The main protagonist is Luke Skywalker, and the trilogy follows his journey from being a simple farmboy to becoming a Jedi Knight, helping to defeat the Galactic Empire, and redeeming Darth Vader—his father. Other characters include Luke sister's, Princess Leia Organa; the smuggler Han Solo; the traitor turned hero Lando Calrissian; and exiled Jedi Masters Obi-Wan Kenobi and Yoda. The trilogy is held in high regard by both Star Wars fans and the public, and it is considered one of the best film stories of all time.
